Roast the sweet potato: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss 0.5 pcs sweet potato (cubed into 0.5 inch / 1.2 cm pieces) with 0.5 tbsp olive oil and a pinch of black pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for 20 minutes until fork-tender and lightly browned.

Pan-sear the salmon: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Season 150g salmon fillet with black pepper. Place salmon skin-side down in the hot pan and cook for 4 minutes until skin is crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the core reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily with a fork.
