The group

Chosen for their habits,
not their results.

We looked at the ten members who were most active between 12 September and 9 October 2026. All ten are paying subscribers, aged 42 to 54, who had been with Lila for 45 to 223 days.

Seven are in perimenopause, one in menopause, one postmenopausal and one is not sure. Seven live in the United States, two in the United Kingdom and one in Finland.

Eight joined to lose weight, one to be healthier and one to have more energy. Busy schedules, low motivation and plans that had not worked before were among the barriers they named.

These are Lila’s most engaged members, not typical ones. The findings show what consistent use can look like.

01 / Weight

Steady changes that add up.

Every member with a weight record was below her starting weight at every measured point. The median change was −1.1 kg at 30 days, −4.0 kg at 90 days and −8.8 kg at 180 days.

A member is counted only if she had been with Lila that long and weighed in near that day. The 180-day result is based on just three members.

02 / Energy & sleep

Feeling better, beyond the scale.

Daily check-ins ask members to rate energy and sleep from 0 to 100. Compared with their first check-in, ratings were higher at every measured point, including six months.

The report summarises the 90-day changes as +21 energy points and +18 sleep points; the exact chart values are +21.5 and +17.5. The ten began at about 40/100 for energy. The all-member comparison ends at day 90.

03 / Daily habits

Small, daily and repeatable.

Log meals, talk to the coach, check in. All ten used Lila on every one of the 28 days. Meal logging was steady across the group; how much they chatted varied widely.

Coach conversations peaked around 8am, lunchtime and early evening, when members were deciding what to eat. Beyond meals and chat, each added a habit of her own: weighing in, tracking water or journaling.

  1. 01

    They began on day one

In their first three days, every member logged at least 11 meals and completed three or four daily check-ins.

  2. 02

    They log as they go

Four to five meals a day keeps the picture complete.

  3. 03

    They talk to the coach

Half send fewer than seven messages a day. A few questions at the right moment can be enough.

  4. 04

    They keep their streak

Nine of the ten have kept their daily streak unbroken since joining. The longest is 224 days.

  5. 05

    They make it their own

Each picked an extra habit that suited her, whether tracking water, weighing in or journaling.

In their own experience

More than numbers.

Six of the ten told their Lila coach, without being asked, that the app was making a difference. These are themes from those conversations, summarised—not direct quotes.

Real weight loss

Members described weight loss, including more than 10 lb and losing weight after menopause.

More energy

Members described more energy after workouts and feeling better overall.

A coach, not just a tracker

Members valued learning why, rather than only counting, and how Lila handles nutrition targets.

Help in the moment

Support when deciding what to eat—and relief from typing out how they felt.

Confidence in the kitchen

Members described cooking Lila recipes successfully, feeling more capable and improved digestion.

Worth recommending

A member strongly recommended the app and the idea of an AI health coach.

Behind the findings

How we measured.

Selection. The ten members with the most active days between 12 September and 9 October 2026, then the most meals logged and messages sent. Test accounts were excluded.

Weight. Self-reported first weight compared with the reading closest to days 30, 60, 90 and 180, within ten days either side. One member was excluded because her entries were too few and inconsistent.

Energy and sleep. Self-rated daily check-in scores on a 0–100 scale, compared in the same way.

Comparison. From Lila’s wider analysis of every member who tracks weight or checks in. Comparator sample sizes are not provided in the report.

Feedback. Themes from coach conversations over the last 120 days, summarised without quoting.
